The Derm Rooms offers personalised support for your skin health needs. We are a dedicated dermatology clinic and offer a comprehensive range of services in state of the art facilities.
We are experts in the diagnosis and management of moles, skin lesions and skin cancers, pre-cancerous skin changes, pigmentation, skin rashes, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair and nail condition and hair loss, and other scalp conditions. We also treat birth marks for people over the age of 18 years. We have particular expertise in skin surgery, laser dermatology and photo-dynamic therapy.
The Derm Rooms is a dedicated dermatology clinic. We are able to focus entirely on your holistic skin health needs. We recognise that this can include medical, lesional, surgical and cosmetic concerns and we have designed our services around this.
Our dermatology consultants are all on the General Medical Council specialist register for dermatology. This means that they are doctors who have attained membership to the Royal College of Physicians and subsequently successfully completed highly competitive, dedicated competency based training in dermatology.
The training and accreditations of our dermatology consultants mean that we are able to accommodate both insured patients and self-paying patients. For patients planning to use insurance for your visit, please see below. Currently we are accepting Axa, Bupa and WPA insurance only but we will be providing services for patients with other insurance in due course.

Insurance
Currently we are accepting Axa, Bupa and WPA insurance only. All of our consultants are fee assured with Bupa.
If you wish to use insurance, it is important that you obtain pre-authorisation from your insurer for your chosen dermatologist and The Derm Rooms facility and that you provide your policy details and preauthorisation code to reception at the time of booking or when you arrive.
Insurance policies vary but if your skin health need relates to a cosmetic concern it is usually not covered in the terms and conditions of your policy and we would recommend self-funding for this.
